.

Don't surrender your loneliness
So quickly, Let it cut more deep.
Let it ferment and season you.
As few human or devine ingredients can.

Something missing in my heart tonight,
Has made my eyes so soft,
My voice so tender.
My need of God absolutely clear.

Don't surrender your loneliness so quickly

~Hafiz ( I think )

good poem. Interesting thought.

How blue the sky with mountains fresh
Oh sweet romance of sunkissed breath
To see your eyes dance with lighted quests
Oh passioned enraged within my silent breasts

Beat strong my heart oh fill the sky
LIke swift dear and elk do fly
To the top of ranges mountians high
I stand and shout aloud my lust

Faithful God dear Lord for me
Stengthen my love for you in me
In skies of blue and moutains I seek
Yet small enough to hide in peace

Though I do not recognize it, no doubt it has the spirit of our beloved Hafiz.

How quick we are to run from our pains and losses into something of a comfort or distraction. It is like darkness, that we stumble and hit our knees a few times and wish we could see, but that same darkness takes us where our eyes can not.

Thank you for posting this friend - very reminder...

Peace,
